About Bodywork

My personal journey to healing began with the body, through exploration of movement, breath and food as medicine.

The physical vessel is a gateway to healing and the entry point into any transformative process. The body is courageously authentic; its impulses and instincts a truth substrate for the desires of mind and soul. According to Ayurveda, body, mind, and soul are the tripod that life stands upon. The physical form and sensory faculties allow us to literally touch consciousness and effect change via perception.

Bodywork is an ancient, timeless medicine that has been practiced across cultures and eras, remaining undistorted due to its inherently pure, powerful and effective balm for the seasons of life.

Whether one is seeking relief from strain and overuse or solace from emotional pain, the healing power of touch offers a simple and direct way towards ease.

“And so, the Midwife performs

her work by doing nothing.

She teaches without speaking a word.

Things arise and she lets them come.

Things leave and she lets them go.

Creating, not possessing,

Working and laying no claim,

And when her work is done, she forgets it,

And so it lasts forever.”

— Tao Te Ching
